4/29/26 Recap

This is our first run of trying to recap a show and entering lil diary entries. Hopefully y’all like this!

Today is Thursday, April 30th, 2026.

Currently listening to: “God Owes Me Money” Militarie Gun

Last night we tabled at Southgate House Revival for the legendary Toasters and local pals Stokelys & U.S Daggers. Volunteer wise it was myself (Sean), Kelley, and Kyle. Prior to the show starting, we had a lot of great conversations with attendees. Some folks had recognized us from other gigs, some had seen us online, and others we were completely new. So that was tight. We ended the night with 4 units of naloxone given, 1 Plan B out, several stickers, and 1 shirt.

Stokelys freakin ripped per usual. Kyle had not seem them perform an original set before and he was really impressed with their Devo cover. (Girl U Want).

U.S Daggers sounded great last night! This was our first time seeing them as a three piece and it was KILLER. Their new album, “Honey and Broken Glass” absolutely rips. If you’re a fan of Banner Pilot or Dillinger Four then this will be right up your alley.

The Toasters finished up the night with a MASSIVE set list. This was my third time seeing them, Kelley’s second, and I believe Kyle’s third as well. They were so good and I came out of “skank retirement” for a few songs. (Absolutely had to for “2 tone Army”) Shout out KaBlam.

Anywaaaayyyy, we met a lot of cool new folks last night and hopefully acquired some new connects (fingers crossed) and should have some cool things we’re collaborating with over the Summer.

Cheers,

Sean
